Some people (especially girls who are heading to prom) HATE rain. I, However, love when a little drizzle comes down because I get to break out the umbrellas and put a girl in a dress somewhere she doesn't belong. .. the rain and wet. These type of pictures can make for the very best ones! As long as your subject is willing to participate that is.
The day this picture was taken it was storming something fierce! We waited for the break in the wind and pouring rain and as soon as it became a drizzle we headed out. This picture to me was so worth being soaked!
Then we have this shoot. Different prom
and day but same situation. It was storming earlier in the day and started to clear only for the rain to return 15 minutes into our session. So again we broke out the umbrellas.
Since it was a slight drizzle these two were able to do a little more shots and different poses with the umbrellas. It turned out to be an adorable prom shoot!
In my opinion umbrellas are elegant and can be beautiful so bring on the rain!!!

We rode out to Storey Indiana and caught these shots. The lighting was just what I was hoping for! It was extremely easy with these two to catch the perfect picture. I have so many good ones I didn't know which ones to choose.
I hope you enjoy the sneak peek. The candid shots are so adorable it makes me just want to scream!!

Matty and Nash came together last year. Nash is a rescue heeler that was in really bad shape and highly neglected. Matty saved him and nourished him back to health and ever since there's two have become inseparable. It's taken a lot of time, love, and effort but Nash has gotten a 2nd chance at a life he truly deserves. Nash truly is Matt's best friend. Here are a few pictures of them together. We hope you enjoy and please if you have a rescue and you would like pictures of them please contact me! They are free sessions for a limited time!
I was honored to take the head shots of the sheriff department last week. I won't post anyone's picture but these two! These two adorable cuties made my night. Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Townsend
Yesterday, a very dear friend of mine got married! I am so happy, blessed, thankful, excited, and delighted for her and the fact I was able to be part of her day! I didn't care how many miles it took or how long it would take me, I wasn't missing this day! Her happiness radiated and his joy shined through! They both are the sweetest and there is nothing better than watching two people who are deeply and madly in love say their vows. I am beyond happy for them and wish them many many years of love and happiness. I love you Dusty! No one deserves this more than you! I hope you enjoy these!
I am so excited to show you the sneak peek of the Cockerham/Bay wedding from yesterday! We had the perfect setting for the most perfect day! The bride was gorgeous and there was a little snow on the ground to add to this winter wonderland of a wedding! It was cold and windy but no one cared as we battled through it! The swans loved us and there was even a horse named Max! The groom was smitten and the whole party was such a delight to work with! I enjoyed every minute of it! I am so happy they chose me to catch these memories for them. I hope you all enjoy the sneak peek of MR. and MRS. BAY #onthebrinkofbay
